Résumé:
This dissertation aims at investigating the opinions of teachers on the role of EFL teachers'
training in enhancing the achievement of learning objectives. The sample of this research is third
year primary school teachers at Guelma province .The hypothesis is stated that teachers have
positive opinions about the role of EFL teachers' training in enhancing the achievement of
learning objectives. A descriptive method was used. The questionnaire was distributed to 31
primary school teachers. The findings showed that teachers have positive thoughts about EFL
training. Teachers confirmed that EFL training helped them in developing their pedagogical
skills, especially in managing their times, and in controlling their classrooms. Teachers also
learned how to face their challenges, and how to modify their strategies according to their
students need. This training was beneficial for teachers to achieve the intended objectives. The
hypothesis is confirmed since the positive opinions of teachers on the great importance of EFL
primary school teachers' training in enhancing the achievement of learning objectives. The
implications of the results include the importance of clear learning objectives, the need for
support in meeting learning objectives, addressing challenges in teaching practices, the impact of
training on teaching strategies and classroom management, the value of addressing various
objectives in training programs, and the recognition of the obligatory nature of teacher training
for EFL teachers. These findings emphasize the significance of ongoing professional
development to enhance teaching effectiveness and improve student outcomes in the context of
EFL primary school education.
