dc.description.abstract Identifying learners' personalities is seen as an indispensable step towards granting a fruitful experience for both learners and teachers. Believing that the differences lying between extraversion and introversion can affect learners' overall language proficiency, in general, it seems to influence their reading comprehension in specific. To this end, this present study sought to unveil the different attitudes EFL learners bear towards the relationship between extraversion-introversion and reading comprehension, whether positive or negative. In an attempt to reach a clear answer; a case study takes place at the Department of English, University of 8 mai 1945-Guelma, with the participation of second-year Master students (N=62). The research utilizes the descriptive method that includes a structured questionnaire directed to the same students, as a quantitative and qualitative tool, to collect the required data. The compiled data refuted the research's main hypothesis, which indicates that introverts have positive attitudes towards the effect of extraversion-introversion trait on reading comprehension. Therefore, unexpectedly, the analysis of the research's tool displayed that extraverts outperform introverts in comprehending reading materials. Lastly, the research offers some implications and suggestions for further studies. en_US
