dc.description.abstractTranslating the cultural specific elements is one of the most difficult types of translation to be achieved by the translator since it has different meaning from one culture into another there are different strategies used to render this difficulty. This research is conducted through the questionnaire and a translation test; investigating third year students cultural translation difficulties and strategies it attempts at finding out the problems that third year students meet in translating the cultural-specific elements and which strategy they use in order to render the difficulties that they come cross while translating. Our sample was selected randomly; we notice from the results that student’s level in translation is somehow good they like translation, also the results show that students have problems in translating cultural-specific elements.en_US
