dc.description.abstract | English serves as a worldwide language that facilitates communication and collaboration and makes a wide range of information easier to access. Its widespread use as an instructional medium enhances educational opportunities. Students of the department of law are not used to have English as a tool of instruction but rather, exposed only to its grammar, rules, vocabulary and terminology. Therefore, the study aims at investigating students' attitudes towards using English as a medium of instruction. A descriptive quantitative method was used through administering a structured questionnaire to the students at the department of law at Guelma university as a sample of the study. Moreover, the results indicates that students have shown positive attitudes toward the use of English as a medium of instruction. Therefore, this study suggests some pedagogical implications for students, teachers, and faculty members in order to apply English as a medium of instruction in Algerian higher educational institutions. | en_US |
