Mobile-learning refers to learning that takes place via the use of mobile electronic devices such as smart phones, tablets, and laptop computers. Researchers are increasingly investigating the potential benefits of mobile technology, particularly outside of the classroom. Because of the growing usage of technology gadgets, learning English as a foreign language has become more reliant on mobile devices. As a result, the current study looks into the influence of using M-learning outside of the classroom on enhancing the vocabulary of second-year License students at the Department of English, University of 8 Mai-1945 -Guelma. A descriptive quantitative method is employed to test this hypothesis by providing a structured questionnaire to 75 second year licensing students. This study's findings are encouraging in several respects. They exhibit widespread ownership of mobile devices, which EFL students extensively employ as a learning tool to acquire the target language. According to the current research, using mobile devices as a learning tool to improve vocabulary knowledge is more successful than traditional methods.en_US
