Mouvements et stabilisation des sols

Abstract

This study concerne the different soil movements , namely vertical movements (settelement , collapse) and horizontaux movements (sliding, landslide). A rich literature review on the various causes leading these movements have been treated. There are different methods for stabilizing these movements such as : the stabilization by injection, rigid inclusion , chemical. The calculation of various soil stabilization methods have been identified. Our study is interested in soil stabilization problems and especially the landslide by retaining structure. Two cases were studied : the first case of BENI MALEK located in the city of Skikda was solved by an armed retaining wall, the second of MESSIOUEN solved by a retaining wall resting on a deep foundation.
