رؤية الأسرى المسيحيين للجزائر العثمانية

Abstract

حظي تاريخ الجزائر خلال الحقبة العثمانية باهتمام بالغ من الكتاب الأجانب لما كانت تشكله أنذاك من قوة عسكرية وسياسية في البحر الأبيض المتوسط، وقد تعددت هذه الكتابات من مذكرات للرحالة والأسرى والقناصلة الأوروبيين، وقد لفت انتباهنا إلى إحدى هذه الكتابات التي تعود لأحد الأسرى الايطاليين Filippo Pananti الذي أُسِر سنة 1813م على يد الرايس حميدو، وعلى الرغم من قصر إقامته في الجزائر إلا أنه استطاع تقديم أربعة وعشرين فصلا في كتابه، قدم فيها مختلف جوانب الحياة للجزائر في تلك الفترة، ركز فيه على العلاقات بين الجزائر والممالك الأوروبية وأولى اهتماما كبيرا لموضوع الأسرى المسيحيين وافتدائهم والقرصنة البحرية، سنحاول في هذا المقال رصد ما قدمه من شرح حول مختلف جوانب حياة الجزائريين تحت حكم الأتراك وكذلك ما قدمه من توصيات للقضاء على توسع وسيطرة الجزائر على البحر الأبيض المتوسط . The history of Algeria during the Ottoman era received great attention from foreign writers because of the military and political power it constituted at that time in the Mediterranean. These writings were numerous, including memoirs by European travelers, prisoners, and consuls. Our attention was drawn to one of these writings that belonged to one of the Italian prisoners, Filippo Pananti, who He was captured in 1813 AD by Rais Hamidou, and despite his short stay in Algeria, he was able to present twenty-four chapters in his book. in which he presented various aspects of life in Algeria, he focused on the relations between Algeria and the European kingdoms and paid great attention to the issue of Christian prisoners and their ransom; and maritime piracy. In this article we will try to monitor the explanation he provided about the various aspects of the lives of the Algerians under the Turks rule, as well as the recommendations he provided to eliminate Algeria’s expansion and control over the Mediterranean Sea.
