dc.description.abstract Several strategies of treatment are put in place for wastewater treatment; if they are not expensive, they are heavy to put in place. This work aims at the preparation of ceramic membranes based on local clays (DD1 and DD3) and natural zeolite and their applications in the treatment of domestic wastewater from the Guelma STEP. This work presents a double interest, on the one hand a valorization of a natural material in this case the clays and zeolite in the form of ceramic membranes, little expensive and extensively available, and on the other hand, the study of the efficiency of some membranes to treating wastewater. Different sintering temperatures were tested ranging from 750°C to 950°C and a characterization by DRX and SEM of the membranes was carried out. The study of the efficiency of the adsorption process of clays and zeolite was applied in the treatment of domestic wastewater. The analysis of the physicochemical parameters of wastewater gave promising results for the membranes calcined at a temperature of 950°C: MD3A for a contact time of 6 hours and at free pH, and also showed that the membrane MD3 is the most efficient adsorbent for long contact time with wastewater. en_US
