تشغل المصطلحات العلمية منزلة راقية ومكانة بالغة الأهمية لأجل ما تكفله من ضبط المفاهيم وتوحيد لغة الدراسة والبحث، وسعيا للإسهام في إزالة العوائق والعقبات في ضبط المصطلح اللساني عالجت إشكالية رئيسة فحواها: ما هي الخطوات والآليات الممكنة لترقية الجانب الاصطلاحي في الكتابة اللسانية العربية؟
ويهدف البحث لوضع المسارات الموصلة لحسن صياغة المصطلح ودقة ضبطه قصد بناء قطاع معرفي متكامل وناجع، والخلوص من الفوضى والعبثية الاصطلاحية، واستعنت بالمنهج الوصفي التحليلي لبلوغ نتائج فعلية لعل أهمها ضرورة تصحيح النظرة تجاه التراث العربي وجعله رافدا رئيسا في الاصطلاح، وكذا العمل على وضع ضوابط وقيود للجوء للترجمة أو التعريب في وضع المصطلح.
