Résumé:
The traditional educational system in Algeria, characterized by in-person classes and a passive
method of knowledge transmission, is criticized for its lack of interaction and adaptation to
the specific needs of students. The advent of Information and Communication Technologies
(ICT) and the Internet of Educational Things (IoET) allows for the introduction of new
pedagogical approaches, such as flipped classrooms, which make education more interactive
and personalized. Flipped classrooms allow students to take theoretical courses online at their
own pace and dedicate in-person sessions to practical and collaborative activities, enhancing
their understanding and engagement.
In this work, we aim to design a system for teaching transversal subjects in higher education,
called Flip-Col, using the flipped classroom method, IoET technologies, and principles of
collaboration among learners. The goal is to stimulate student activity and engagement,
facilitating more effective learning tailored to current needs.
Flip-Col aims to transform the learning experience by combining the benefits of
contemporary teaching methods and advanced technologies, making higher education more
interactive, personalized, and effective.
