Résumé:
Our work is part of the synthesis and characterization of new antibacterial agents.
Two compounds were synthesized, a 2-(((4-hydroxy phényle) imino) méthyl) phénol (PR1)
71.45%, and 2,2’-((1,4phenylene bis (azaneylylidene)) bis (methaneylylidene)) ( PAS) 67.46%.
These synthesized compounds are identified and characterized using the usual
physicochemical methods such as ultraviolet, infrared, and CCM. During the implementation
of these analytical techniques, we have been able to demonstrate the structures of the
synthesized compounds, while appreciating their purity.
As regards the application of these compounds in the field of biology, our choice has been
focused on antimicrobial and antifungal activity. The evaluation of the antibacterial effect of
our compounds shows a bacterial sensitivity towards the five strains tested: Escherichia coli
and, Pseudomonas aerugenosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae et Morganella morganii from Gram
négative et Staphylococus aureus from gram positive. The antibacterial effect is proportional
to the concentration of the compounds.
The study of the antifungal activity was demonstrated by the diameter of inhibition of the
Candida albicans and Candida SPP. The compounds synthesized exerted moderate activity
against the fungal strain tested
