Résumé:
The digitization of the physical world has received considerable attention and, thanks to
advances in technology and connectivity, any object can now be connected to Internet. Different technologies and software are becoming interconnected, communicating without direct human intervention within the Internet infrastructure. This phenomenon is collectively referred to as the Internet of Things (IoT). It has become a widespread phenomenon in all spheres of life.
In general, the main objective of the project is to provide a smart technological solution that
helps the health and social services sector to anticipate critical cases of people in need before
they arise, so that they can intervene in timely. By developing a network infrastructure of
semantic connected objects that can securely manage the massive flow of data, while being
simple to control and make it work.
Much more specifically, the project will deal with the subject of the use of IoT and the
semantic web in health prediction. Indeed, IoT technologies cannot prevent danger from
occurring, but can be very useful for disaster preparedness.
Take for example heart attacks resulting from the deterioration of the work of the heart and
arteries, sensors that a person can wear can take measures that indicate when a hazard has arisen or there is a high risk, e.g. high blood pressure, difficulty in breathing, etc. If there is a critical combination of these parameters, early warning systems based on semantic reasoning alert the sectors concerned and ask for help. The firefighters, when they arrive, have detailed information about the person in need.
