<description>Représentations des femmes algériennes sur la langue française et leurs impacts sur son apprentissage et sa transmission au sein de leurs familles en Algérie : Cas des femmes de Guelma
Aissaoui, Sabrina
Les représentations envers les langues ont toujours un impact sur la pratique et l’apprentissage de celle-ci.&#13;
Nous nous intéressons, dans le cadre de cet article, aux représentations des femmes algériennes sur la langue française en particulier et leur rôle dans la transmission et l’apprentissage de la langue française au sein de leurs familles.&#13;
Afin d’atteindre leurs représentions, nous nous sommes posée la question suivante : Quels est l’impact des représentations des femmes sur l’apprentissage du FLE en Algérie ?&#13;
Nous allons opter pour une enquête qualitative basée sur des entretiens semi directifs.&#13;

<description>Représentations de l’espace forestier et perception du monde dans les contes populaires algériens
Bensaâda – Hamouche, Fazia; Icheboudene, Larbi
Etudier les contes, c’est entrer dans le système de représentations des populations et de ce qui est voulu pour être transmis. Dans cet article, l’objectif fixé est d’examiner le sens de la notion de forêt et montrer la perception du monde des populations communautaires à travers l’analyse de contenu des contes populaires algériens.&#13;
Le traitement socio anthropologique a permis de relever, dans la perception de l’espace boisé, un rapport aux populations vivant en communauté. On distingue des humains, des humains devenus semi-humains, et d’autres surnaturels. La forêt, occupée par ces êtres surnaturels, symbolisant le danger, est assimilée à un monde sauvage.&#13;
To study tales is to enter into the system of representations of populations and of what is wanted to be transmitted. In this article, the objective set is to examine the meaning of the notion of forest and show the perception of the world of community populations through the content analysis of Algerian popular tales.&#13;
The socio-anthropological treatment made it possible to identify, in the perception of wooded space, a relationship with populations living in community. There are humans, humans who have become semi-human and other supernatural. The forest, occupied by these semi-human and supernatural beings, symbolizing danger, is assimilated to a wild world.

<description>Raising Learners’ Metacognitive Awareness in Listening through Metacognitive-based Instruction: The Case of Third-Year License Students of English at Mohammed Lamine Debaghine University, Setif
Mekhoukh, Sohila
This paper deals with the effect of a process approach based on a metacognitive listening strategy intervention conducted with 28 upper-intermediate undergraduate third year students at the English Department, Faculty of Arts and Letters, Setif 2 University. It is a mixed-method study, which used listening pre/post-tests, a reflection survey and emotional temperature charts as the main instruments for data collection. &#13;
Results show that the participants’ perceptions concerning the efficacy of the intervention in improving their listening performance are positive, and their scores in the listening post-test increased to some degree namely for poor listeners. The findings imply that the metacognitive listening strategy instruction can raise listeners’ awareness towards the processes involved in listening comprehension success, and that this type of teaching approach should be encouraged in future L2 listening classes.

BOUGUERNI, Abdelmadjid; SERIER BOUCHENAK, Nora
On January 30th 2020, Coronavirus (COVID-19) was declared a world pandemic, a decision that would lead to a series of radical changes to our lifestyle. The most important was the suspension of formal education at universities and schools and the use of e-learning models instead as a means of learning. Prompted by these changes, this research paper aims to review the students’ perceptions of their e-learning experience in Blida 2 university during the pandemic. The study reports on students’ perceptions of e-learning, its benefits, drawbacks and challenges. To this end, the researcher used a mixed-method approach, which included an online questionnaire with a large sample of students from different faculties of Blida 2 university, to unravel their e-learning experience. The findings of this study proved that the implementation of e-learning in this university faced several challenges which prevented it from delivering as expected. Based on these findings some recommendations are put forward to improve the effectiveness of online learning in the Algerian higher education institutions.
