dc.description.abstract | Cypress is considered one of the most popular plants thanks to the different properties it has (medicinal, pharmacological and cosmetological properties). And to look the exemplary active components ,we did a test on the cypress plant which was harvested from the eastern region of Algeria- in the region of faculty of Guelma in the month of March 2022. Several extracts from the leaves of this plant have been prepared (aqueous, ethanolic and methanolic extracts) to be tested on Gram-positive (S.aureus) and Gram-negative (E.coli and P. aeruginosa) strains. Only the extracts have antibacterial activity, despite the fact that they consist of several active ingredients with antibacterial potential such as Tannins and Alkaloids of Flavonoids, Coumarins, Sterols and Treterpenes, Compound-reducers. | en_US |
