Abstract: Recently, researchers have been paying more attention to the relevance of engagement and its role in improving learning as well as promoting student motivation and retention. Our goal is to present a method for assessing and improving performance as well as engaging learners in a collaborative learning environment. The proposed approach is based on the tracking and analysis of participant activity traces throughout the learning process. Dashboard were used to visualize indicators relating to the participants' performance and engagement. The system and the teacher generate feedback in order to communicate the results of the evaluation of the participants' engagement.
