This paper explores the major influence of the concept of commitment on Algerian literature of the 21st century. It underlines the idea according to which Algerian authors are committed politically anf but socially as well, through their novels. These authors are influenced by the upheavals of the 20th century. Commitment has considerably enriched Algerian literary diversity by allowing writers to give voice to their social concerns. The study looks at the specific commitment of Algerian authors, highlighting in particular the role of Chawki Amari, through his novel "le Faiseur de Trous". Dans le présent article, nous nous intéressons aux activités de grammaire proposées aux apprenants du niveau 1 dans le CEIL de l’université Frères Mentouri/Constantine1 et de leur rôle dans la réalisation des objectifs communicationnels en situation de classe et par la suite en contexte d’utilisation. Afin de voir le degré d’adaptation de celles-ci à l’objectif communicationnel, nous nous interrogeons de la façon suivante : Les activités de grammaire proposées, aux apprenants du niveau 1, favorisent-elles la communication de la population apprenante dans des situations réelles ? En vue de répondre à la question mentionnée ci-dessus, nous optons pour une enquête qualitative centrée sur une observation de classe. Les résultats de l’étude sont plus ou moins négatifs par rapport au développement des compétences de communication plus précisément à l’oral. The process of teaching-learning French as a foreign language is a problematic in the Algerian context. This article deals with the role of grammatical activities offered to first level learners at the center for intensive language education at Mentouri university/Constantine 1 and their role in achieving communication goals. In order to know the degree of its adaptation to achieve the goal of communication we present the following problem: do the proposed grammatical activities for first level learners enhance the communication process between learners in real situation? To answer this problem we choose a qualitative observational study.
